Running Configuration Wizard

Overview:

What is the Configuration Wizard?

 

This wizard will help you configure your store’s primary configuration variables after first installation. Initially the fields below are set to default. Performing this task is essential as you go along in setting up your storefront, so as to configure the initial settings such as store name, the domain of your store so customers could access in the internet, store currency, how would you like to accept payments, etc. These steps will further discuss in this page.

To Access : Click HOME. Under Common Links click Run Configuration Wizard Link OR

                     Go to Misc then click Run Configuration Wizard

How to use Run Configuration Wizard?

1. There are  two (2) ways to access the Run Config Wizard:

• Go to Misc menu then click on Run Config Wizard OR

 

 

 

 

 

• Click on HOME then click on Run Config Wizard under Common Links.

 

 

 

 

2. Clicking on either links will bring up exactly the same page which is the Configuration Wizard page. Fill in ALL required fields then click .

 

The Run Configuration Wizard page consists of the following fields:

Fields	Description & Usage
Store Name	The name of your storefront.
Store Domain	The domain name of your storefront (e.g. www.yourstore.com)
Store Email-address	The email-address of your storefront
Store Email Name	The name of your store email -address.
Store Zip Code	The zip code of the location of your storefront.
Transaction  Mode	The type of transaction to be used: Auth - authorize the charge, but does NOT capture or transfer funds Auth Capture - authorizes and captures the transaction all at once
Store Currency	This is your store master currency, based on the ISO 4217 Standard Code (e.g.  USD). By default, your store currency is in USD (US Dollars).
Store Currency Numeric Code	This is your store master currency code based on the ISO 4217 Standard Code (e.g. 840). * 840 is the currency code for US Dollars.
Payment Method Accepted	How the customers pays for the orders.
Payment Gateways	Choose only one type of payment gateway.
Use Live Transactions	If set to YES- store will run in live mode; NO- will be in testing mode.
Use SSL	If set to YES - SSL will be enabled; NO- SSL would not run.

3. Click the Reset Cache for the changes to successfully update.
