Pre-Installation Procedure

Overview:

These programs are either part of your Windows XP Operating System Installation CD or can be downloaded from Microsoft homepage (www.msdn.com). It is very important that you install these components properly, as this will affect the creation and functionality of your store's applications (i.e. admin and store sites, your database, etc.). The installation of the software should be done in this sequence:

 

1. Install Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS).
2. Download and install .NET Framework v2.0
3. Download and install Microsoft SQL Server Express 2005

Download the two (2) files:

 (1) Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition ;

 (2) SQL Server Management Studio Express
